Sarawakian Syul Hezri draws attention to the ongoing and necessary fight against climate change. In conjunction with the United Nations Ocean Conference, the works highlight the need to keep our planet and fellow inhabitants safe and healthy.
Under his brush, oceans rise and fall, animals flee their dying homes and concrete jungles breathes in tandem with the forests. Hidden messages are embedded within each painting, encouraging viewers to deliberate and dwell on them longer.
